Proper mobility of the cervical spine and thoracic cage and important for general mobility and optimizing athletic performance. This class will analyze mobility of these regions, teach assessment skills to localize origins of restrictions and introduce proper treatment modalities based on your findings.
Prerequisites: Review of the cervical and thoracic spine, ribs and associated soft tissue attachments is recommended.
8.4 contact hours will be awarded to physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and massage therapists for completing this seminar, which satisfies the requirements of the NYS Board of Education.
