Manual Therapy for the Lumbar Spine and Pelvis is an introductory class that will review the essentials of the structure and function of the lumbar spine and pelvis. We will introduce the interrelationships within the body that have common effects on both of these areas. By having a greater understanding of the compensations and precipitating causes commonly found in the body, frustrating degenerative conditions and recurrent back and pelvic diagnoses and can be more effectively corrected.
Preparatory Suggestions: Review the anatomy of the lumbar spine and pelvis.
9.6 contact hours will be awarded to physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and massage therapists for completing this seminar, which satisfies the requirements of the NYS Board of Education.
We will offer a 1 hour break for lunch and recommend that you bring what you like, as options off campus are limited. We do have a kitchen area with a refrigerator available for you to use.
